Amazingly accurate assessment. Bought this a few weeks ago and it’s really not lining up with my other bottles in similar price range. Kind of a generic taste without even a modest hint of coffee, which doesn’t matter too much because it’s all gone soon anyway.

This is quite good. In any case a lot better than that other Macallan we had recently. That said, the initial price was already high and secondary market pricing is downright crazy.

Chocolate fondant, honey, oak, zesty lime and ginger. Palate: Dark chocolate, honey, dates, vanilla and cinnamon. Finish: Long with rich chocolate.
