A limited-edition, travel-retail exclusive release of Macallan’s Rare Cask Black, created in collaboration with photographer and filmmaker Steven Klein. Klein, a master of disruptive and ambiguous imagery, has reimagined the whisky’s packaging, creating a very different look to Macallan’s more traditional aesthetic.
The Macallan Rare Cask Black is unlike any other Macallan available today. It’s a Macallan with a remarkably prominent yet faint smokey taste. This unexpected flavor retains the full-bodied richness of the spirit’s DNA. From sherry-seasoned European and American oak barrels, the majority of which are first filled.
