The Macallan Sherry Oak 25 years old forms part of our Sherry Oak range which features a series of single malt whiskies matured in hand-picked sherry seasoned oak casks from Jerez for richness and complexity. This special single malt delivers an intensely rich and full flavour character, citrus, dried fruits and wood smoke.

This distinguished single malt is matured for twenty-five years in Oloroso sherry seasoned oak casks from Jerez, Spain. Laying undisturbed in the same casks for a quarter of a century, the maturing spirit transforms to create this luxurious single malt whisky characterised by its rich flavours of vanilla, dried fruits and ginger spice with a long finish and rich mahogany colour.

After 25 years in oak, the nose feels like going back in time – with a rustic and antique feel about it. The wood is the star here, bringing those decadent sugars, chocolate, and crème brulee to the palate while leaving the finish warm and spicy – showing incredible layers throughout the experience

Re taste for a H2H (no 6)
This is much better than the last time (same bottle)
Bella –
The mouth feels is decent but this is not a sweet one to start with and it also has a little woody bitterness, that said there is some depth of profile on show here.
This one is juicy fruit various dark fruits and very juicy, black currant and Samson jams with a little raspberry and blackcurrant jelly.
